Procurement Sourcing Specialist – IT & Professional Services

This prestigious client is seeking a candidate with expertise in procurement, particularly the procurement of IT and Professional Services.

The role involves developing sourcing strategies, managing cost reduction initiatives, and ensuring compliance with all relevant governance and risk policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage Supplier Performance Management (SPM) programs including the use of scorecards.
• Drive cost savings and using RFXs to initiate these
• Oversee category management strategies, working with your suppliers to build up strong stakeholder relationships.
• Support the company’s sustainability activities

Skills and Experience:

• Proven sourcing and procurement management skills.
• Team player with leadership qualities and project management experience.
• Minimum 5 years in procurement with category management experience in IT and professional services.
• Knowledge of online sourcing tools like Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, Coupa
• Comfortable working with legal to create, amend and draft contracts.

Qualifications:

• A degree and procurement/purchasing ie. CIPS certification are welcomed
• You will be energetic, capable of driving change, and able to handle pressure and multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential
