Senior Buyer- Food

Sanderson have a super opportunity for a Senior Buyer with a strong food purchasing background.
You will be responsible for sourcing, selecting, and negotiating with suppliers, while ensuring that optimal inventory levels are maintained. You will also be responsible for ensuring Food and Beverage costs are in line with the budget.
Your role will involve the following responsibilities:

• Effectively managing the purchasing operation for all departments
• Securing competitive pricing and negotiate terms for items required across all departments
• Monitoring Food and Beverage GP’s and ensure they remain in line with the budget
• Maintain an efficient inventory control system, ensuring sufficient stock and minimising waste
• Regularly reviewing costs with suppliers to ensure the best price

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong negotiation skills
