Research Finance Programme Executive

Sanderson are partnering with a leading sustainable energy organisation located in Dublin to recruit for the position of Finance Research Programme Executive.

• Role Responsibilities
  Provide financial and governance support to funded research grant programs, including application review and program design.
• Support the implementation and administration of a dedicated Research Grant Management System.
• Oversee financial administration for the organisation's EU research grant portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with established financial controls and procedures.

• Develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum NFQ Level 7 degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• At least three years’ experience in research grants administration, grant management, or a finance function.
• Proven experience in maintaining compliance with financial controls
• Strong communication skills, including report writing, presenting, and simplifying financial information.
• Experience in the public sector or EU-funded research grants administration.
• Strong project management, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
• Analytical mindset with an ability to provide practical advice in a commercial context.
