Mech/Elec Projects Engineering Leader

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the MEP Engineering team, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with designers to develop detailed design proposals.
• Review MEP designs and assess the potential for alternative systems and methods.
• Analyse construction methodology, identifying implications for the project programme and logistics.
• Engage with the supply chain to prepare subcontract packages.
• Review equipment specifications and prepare procurement packages.
• Evaluate subcontract and supplier proposals, developing technical/commercial comparisons for selecting preferred bidders.
• Develop crane and lifting strategies for the project.
• Identify project logistics and temporary works requirements.
• Assess project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to various other aspects of the project and tendering process.

Requirements:

• M.Sc. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in engineering or construction.
• Site experience with a contractor is a plus.
• Proficiency in French or German is an advantage.
