Head of HR Business Partnering

Sanderson is partnering with its renewable energy client to recruit a Head of HR Business Partnering on a permanent basis. The Head of HR Business Partnering is a leadership role supporting senior and C-level leadership directly as a strategic partner, advisor and change agent. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Human Resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive and creative HR Business Partnering and initiatives to ensure that business objectives are developed, supported and achieved. Work across the wider HR team to resolve complex and challenging problems through innovative and agile thinking.
  • Coach and mentor the HR Business Partner team to ensure people initiatives are implemented and aligned to business strategy.
  • Champion the organisational values and culture. Coach and develop business leaders. Identify business needs and lead organisational change initiatives.
  • Focus on the future of work. Deliver business and HR strategy through development of talent, workforce and workplace solutions.
  • Manage the industrial relations strategy.
  • As a member of the HR Leadership team proactively participate in the development and implementation of the HR strategic plan. Provide feedback to HR Operations and COEs on policies, processes and programs
  • Create and drive the people strategy, along with metrics, for your area of responsibility including performance management, talent identification and succession, org design, employee engagement & communications, learning & development gaps, workforce planning.
  • All employees are expected to co-operate fully with all provisions taken by the company for ensuring Health and Safety, and Welfare of co-employees and members of the public using the premises.

Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge:

  • Hons Degree in a Business or HR related discipline is essential.
  • Proven ability in HR Business Partnering at team leader level, including hands-on experience of project and programme management.
  • Demonstrates strong business and financial acumen and ability to translate into people strategy.
  • Ability to build & foster relationships with business leaders. Influences decisions to produce positive business outcomes.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to work across multiple levels of the organisation. Demonstrates consulting agility
  • Demonstrates ability to be a change leader. Ability to adapt to Emerging Trends. Strong experience in leadership coaching & ability to push strategy forward.
