Senior People Partner
Sanderson is recruiting for a Senior People Partner who will work closely with senior leaders to enable and drive our client’s people strategy. You will define and deliver relevant people plans that support the functional agenda, as that agenda evolves. You will own and drive initiatives that enhance the culture, capacity and capability required to build engaged high-performing inclusive teams in the context of the evolving business landscape of our global client.
Key responsibilities:
- Strategically partner with senior leaders to deliver their business objectives through their people and talent agenda
- Deliver the annual cycle of people initiatives to the assigned functional teams as well as developing and executing on tailored people plans and initiatives, which will deliver achievement of business priorities for the functional teams
- Provide support and guidance to the manager population that equips them to lead engaged high-performing inclusive teams
- Support the execution of group people projects and initiatives
- Strategically partner with business leaders to design and deliver on organisation design, workforce planning and changes initiatives designed to ensure that functional structures enable the achievement of strategies
- Collaborate with relevant HR centres of excellence and other relevant stakeholders
- Build strong relationships across with relevant stakeholder groups business divisions, brands and locations
- Develop manager capability through coaching, challenge and development interventions
- Effectively embed core people processes across the employee lifecycle (reward & recognition, engagement, talent, performance and DEI)
- Use people analytics and insights to inform, monitor and assess our decisions
- Ensure compliance with and continually optimise our HR processes and policies
Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years’ strategic HR business partnering experience, preferably within a global organisation
- Proven experience building effective relationships with global leaders and leadership teams
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to coach and challenge senior stakeholders
- Ability to translate business strategy into tailored people plans
- Proven experience of advising, supporting and executing on organisational design changes as well as transformation projects
- Some business travel as required (UK/ Europe)
- Strong commercially
