Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to mechanical maintenance to optimise plant performance and safety.
• Use spare parts efficiently, following budget guidelines and the maintenance management system.
• Ensure maintenance plans and targets are met safely, economically, and within environmental limits.
• Assist with planning, carry out fault diagnosis, and plant inspections as needed.
• Proactively solve problems and contribute to innovative solutions.
• Participate in the implementation of the Plant Business Management System, including the Safety Release programme.
• Perform preventative maintenance and report on activities within the Maintenance Management System.
• Work collaboratively with teams to provide flexible, high-quality maintenance resources.
• Ensure all work is conducted safely, following safety guidelines and the work permit system.
• Actively engage in the Performance Management process to meet team objectives.

Requirements:

• HND, HC, or equivalent technical qualifications or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years' experience in a similar role.
• Level 6 qualification or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficient IT skills and experience with maintenance management systems, including preventative maintenance planning and reporting.
