Management Accountant

Sanderson are partnering with a leading global organisation in the energy sector to recruit a Management Accountant, based in Cavan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct cost and material analysis, focusing on cost drivers, allocation methods, and control techniques to improve financial effectiveness.
• Monitor and manage costs, ensuring accurate and detailed reporting.
• Accurately record financial transactions to provide insight into business performance, financial position, and cash flows.
• Engage in business transformation and control projects to enhance profitability and drive informed decision-making.
• Prepare management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and key performance indicators.
• Perform monthly reconciliations, matching internal transactions with external documents to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Participate in third-party audits, ensuring compliance and data accuracy.
• Contribute to company performance forecasting, incorporating both quantitative data and qualitative insights.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of business strategies and financial decisions.

Requirements:

• Qualified CIMA, ACCA, or Chartered Accountant.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience (experience in manufacturing is a plus).
• Familiarity with ERP systems; SAP experience is an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Excel.
• Curiosity and interest in the industry, with a commitment to enhancing financial acumen within the organisation.
