HR Business Partner
Sanderson is working in partnership with its Technology client to recruit an HR Business Partner to act as the first point of contact for employees and managers for all general HR queries. This is a great opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of activities within a hardworking and motivated team. Working closely with the leadership team, you will focus on enhancing processes, championing employee engagement, and supporting the overall growth and success of the organisation.
Hybrid 1 day in office in Dublin West, flexibility to travel to Southside City Centre office 1x / month
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate as a trusted people advisor and coach on matters such as employment law, learning and development, recruitment and selection, employee relations, organisational change, and policies and procedures.
- Support and drive recruitment activities across Ireland, collaborating with managers to understand skills required for vacancies and interviewing where required.
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource operational activities.
- Administer processes, policies, and programs related to compensation and benefits, recognition, learning and development, talent attraction, and employee relations.
- Coordinate the probation and performance management process effectively ensuring all employees progress an effective objective and self-evaluation process.
- Handle employment-related queries from employees, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the Head of People and Culture.
- Compile and prepare various HR reports and maintain document management for files and records.
- Support the Head of People and Culture in operational tasks and in coordinating HR processes in the assigned functional areas.
- Provide support for branch meetings, e.g., presentations, agendas, minutes, communication to all employees, etc.
- Support on all Employee Relations (ER) issues.
- Support with learning and development activities, reports and processes to meet the needs of the organisation.
- Guide management on employee relations and performance management.
- Improve, implement, and administer human resources policies and procedures.
- Support employee wellbeing and act as the wellbeing officer for the branch.
- Conduct employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Submit payroll reports and act as a liaison for payroll services.
- Support ESG activities and act as Local Environment officer.
- Be the point of contact for team and 1st level people services team to ensure employee queries are addressed in a timely manner and data accuracy.
- Administer compensation and benefits, remain a point of contact for external suppliers and liaise with finance to ensure correct timely supplier set up and payment processing.
- Coordinate wellbeing calendar of activities.
- Coordinate and support Health and Safety related activities.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience as a HR Business Partner.
- Knowledge of employment law.
- Strong Excel, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in using HRIS systems.
- Experience with Success Factors desirable.
- Strong stakeholder management.
