Category Sourcing Expert – Software Services

A super opportunity to start as a Contractor and if all goes well become permanent

You will: -

  • Be responsible for the execution of sourcing strategies to achieve best total value
  • Use the 7 steps of sourcing including Spend analysis, Market Research, Supplier Due Diligence, Sourcing RFx Mgt., Bid Analysis & Contract Mgt. & SRM Mgt.
  • Negotiate terms for new agreements & renewals (MLAs, Cloud agreements, SOWs , etc.
  • Working cross-functionally to document requirements, build RFPs, negotiations for renewals/new agreement & identify savings opportunities
  • Handling sourcing process, ensuring that it aligns with policies
  • Work with various cross functional teams to develop requirements for a commercial approach
  • Work closely with Legal counsel, Contract Mgr., Tax & SMEs to establish new/renewal of agreements with Suppliers
  • Working in an agile way, switching between categories with a large supply base to meet business demands
  • Perform analyses of financial & business data assessments related to sourcing operation
  • Identifying & evaluating the potential suppliers, core competencies using industry cost models, RFx development & execution, proposal evaluation, total cost of ownership, & supplier selection recommendation
  • Develop, manage & lead cross-functional teams, running strategic sourcing processes, contract negotiation & admin including utilising sourcing systems, supervising supplier performance, analysing financial data, business planning, administration, & analysis
  • Lead negotiations on contract terms with suppliers at Senior Mgt. executing contract in liaison with the Legal & Contract Mgt. Team for cost service guarantee
  • Develop strategies that achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers.
  • Executing supplier relationship mgt. activities for key assigned suppliers within the assigned categories, with oversight regarding supplier relationship mgt.
  • Develop & manage multiple projects & expectations
  • Be a problem solver who pays attention to detail
  • An excellent relationship builder with good interpersonal skills
  • Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
  • Project & Stakeholder Mgt. in complex multi-project & multi-geography environment
  • Category Sourcing Mgt., Supplier & Purchasing experience
  • Work independently when trained up
  • Lead meetings/conference calls
  • Strategic Sourcing exp.
  • Negotiation, cost mgt. & analytical skills & contract exp
  • Exp in IT/Technology software service categories and their negotiation
  • Certifications in CIPS/CSCP and Lean Six Sigma welcome
  • Experience in Ariba, SAP, Google Suite & M/soft
