Role Overview:
As a Junior Reinsurance Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance and accounting functions. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of reinsurance, working with a global team of industry experts. The role is based in the Dublin office, with the flexibility of a hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reinsurance Accounting: Assist in the preparation and analysis of reinsurance accounting transactions.
• Financial Reporting: Contribute to the generation of accurate and timely financial reports.
• Data Analysis: Work with large sets of financial data, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams to support various financial projects.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory and industry standards in all financial activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

• 1-2 years previous experience in the reinsurance or insurance sector.
