HR Business Partner

We are currently recruiting an HR Partner to join our health and social care client's busy HR Team on a permanent basis. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist, HR Officer or HR Coordinator to get to the next level in their career and to make a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
Role Summary
You will manage an end to end multi-site HR Partner remit and gain valuable hands-on experience in regulatory compliance, recruitment, absence management, employee & industrial relations and HR Business Partnership - acting in collaboration with assigned frontline services, delivering operational HR support, guidance and advice to Regional Managers and Service Management Teams.
Core Duties
- Operating in partnership with frontline services, you will provide professional HR support and guidance to each of the services within your assigned area of support.
- Responsibility for ensuring compliance with employment law and regulations.
- Commitment to achieving excellence and continuous improvement in standards and the delivery of operational HR solutions.
- Proactive engagement with Trade Unions in the interests of promoting and maintaining a positive industrial relations climate and resolution of complex employee relations issues.
- In addition to the provision of day-to-day HR support, the HR Partner will support other ad hoc HR projects as required.
Skills & Experience
- 3rd level qualification in Human Resource Management or other HR-related qualification and will be CIPD accredited.
- At least 2 years' experience in a HR Generalist/Coordinator, HR Partner, HR Officer role and experience of working in a unionised environment would be an advantage.
- Experience of using HR systems.
- Good working knowledge of employment law and HR best practice, excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as excellent analytical and report-writing skills.
- Prior experience of conducting or supporting workplace investigations and preparing for third party hearings is desirable but not essential.
- The role will involve travel nationally you will need to have a current driver's license, own vehicle and be willing to travel for work.
