Senior Culture Enablement Manager

Sanderson is working in partnership with its leading Financial Services client to place a Sr Culture Enablement Manager on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Head of People you will drive thought leadership, strategic direction, and implementation of all Cultural initiatives and focus on crafting, developing, implementing, and evolving Cultural Enablers to support the delivery of our client's Culture.

You will oversee following key cultural enablers:

  • Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Strategy
  • Engagement Strategy
  • Wellbeing Strategy
  • Recognition Strategy
  • Cultural Evolution

All aligned to create a risk-integrated growth culture shaped by ethics, integrity, and innovation. You will shape and shift culture to deliver on the Purpose, Ambition, and cultural aspiration. You will work with the Head of People to take a systemic view of culture transformation that includes operating models, organisational design, governance and decision frameworks, strategic planning, and investment and communications frameworks.

Program and Project Management:

  • Utilise your expertise in program and project management to work with stakeholders to lead the evolution and embedding of culture - finding opportunities to drive cultural awareness and designing and coordinating people and cultural initiatives that reinforce its importance ensuring its fit for the future.
  • The programs and initiatives that you lead will enable the evolution of the customer-centric culture.

Your Team: This role reports to the Head of People and you will have (1) People Manager - DEI and Wellbeing and (3) People Experience Specialists

Core Responsibilities:

Functional Strategy & Delivery

  • Act as a key senior member of the People Management team, taking accountability for and driving the various programs and tracking delivery against key milestones.
  • Develop effective delivery plans for strategic objectives and monitor benefits and return on investment.
  • Develop, lead, and deliver an annual plan covering the areas of responsibility to deliver transformation of culture into 2025
  • Prepare Steering and Board papers as required across cultural areas.
  • Provide enablement support to ExCo and SLT in response to regulatory arrangements relating to culture.
  • Prepare papers for insertion to Annual report, CBI and/or Audit responses.
  • Lead the engagement across Culture related OpEx and CapEx with Finance incorporating program budgets in line with expectations and governance requirements.
  • Manage Engagement and Culture Surveys and Diagnostics
  • Develop and lead the Recognition Strategy aligned to Culture, and Values.
  • Develop and lead the continued evolution of the DE&I Strategy
  • Develop and lead the Wellbeing Strategy aligned to Ibec's Keep Well Mark

Lead an inspiring Culture

  • Support the Head of People in the development and implementation of the initiatives to support the Culture evolution.
  • Lead the annual refresh of Artefacts, Culture Charter, The Culture Compendium, ensuring alignment to all Regulatory commitments

Stakeholder Management

  • Ability to navigate stakeholders at all levels across the Business to create buy-in and support for People Strategy of the Company.
  • Ensure engagement aligns to our culture by being fully involved in external engagements and by providing a full and proactive People Experience service.

Risk Management & Control

  • Comply with the highest standards of reporting in terms of cultural evolution to internal and external stakeholders, including ExCo, Board, CBI, IBCB, and other stakeholders as required.
  • Drive a risk awareness aligned to the risk appetite of the group.

Skills & Experience Essential

  • 5 years' experience in a similar role, delivering clear business benefits.
  • Subject matter expert across customer, communications, and culture.
  • Substantial experience in People / HR Strategy and Culture transformation and all the systemic elements that form part of change across a large and complex organisation with demonstrable outcomes in terms of engagement, recognition, sentiment, and behavioral change.
  • Demonstrated ability to present ideas persuasively and to convince and influence others including ExCo and the Board.

Desired

  • Good understanding of a Financial Services or Bank operating environment.
  • Third Level educational qualification in a relevant field.
  • Membership of CIPD Ireland (or similar).
  • Excellent organisational skills being highly organised and structured in approach.
