Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

Sanderson is partnering with a leading provider of residential care services in Ireland to recruit a permanent Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist. Our client operates a thriving network of high-quality nursing homes and is committed to excellence in care, dignity, and compassion, supporting residents across a variety of sites in Dublin, Louth, Meath, Tipperary and Cork. As they continue to develop their HR team they continue to invest in their people and processes to ensure that they attract and retain the best talent in their sector.

Role Purpose

The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the end to end recruitment and talent strategy for the group. This is a high-impact role responsible for leading recruitment across clinical and non-clinical roles. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, build strong working relationships, drive employer branding initiatives, and ensure a seamless candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for high-volume and specialist roles across the group.
  • Partner with management and operational leaders to forecast and fulfil workforce needs and implementation of succession planning.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies and pipelining for both domestic and international talent.
  • Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and third-party providers.
  • Ensure compliance with employment regulations and industry regulatory requirements.
  • Champion the use of the ATS and continuously improve recruitment processes.
  • Provide data-driven insights and regular reporting to the Senior Management Team.
  • Support employer branding and talent marketing initiatives to position the organisation as an employer of choice.
  • Organise recruiting events, open days and attend job fairs.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to the development of the wider HR function.

Skills and Experience

  • 7-10 years' experience in talent acquisition/recruiting, ideally within healthcare or another heavily regulated industry.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a passion for operational excellence.
  • Experience with international recruitment and compliance frameworks.
  • Proficient in using ATS platforms and recruitment analytics.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and working with people with complex needs.
  • Willingness to travel to build relationships and understand local needs.
