Location: Dublin
Contract: 12-month fixed term
Salary: €74,701 per annum
Blended Working: Minimum two days per week onsite

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale IT programmes within a dynamic and innovative environment. This role involves managing complex projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful implementation of business-critical systems.
You will report to the PMO and work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with organisational strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of major IT programmes, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee project governance, compliance, and quality assurance.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, business readiness, and deployment plans.
- Establish detailed programme plans including milestones, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor progress, manage risks, and resolve issues proactively.
- Drive change management initiatives and ensure effective stakeholder communication.
Essential Requirements
- Degree (NFQ Level 8 or higher) in IT, Computer Science, Project Management, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years' experience in IT project/programme management within a PMO environment.
- Proven experience managing multi-vendor ICT delivery models.
- Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- Strong knowledge of methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and project management tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable: Experience with Microsoft-based systems, large integrated systems, and public sector projects.
