Finance Business Partner

Sanderson are partnering with an Energy company in Dublin City Centre to recruit an experienced Finance Business Partner to join a collaborative finance team based in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting financial operations, driving process improvements, and partnering with stakeholders across the business.

This position is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract with a strong possibility of transitioning to a permanent role, making it ideal for someone looking to make a long-term impact within a growing and evolving organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Finance Operations & Reporting
  • Document, maintain, and continuously improve end-to-end finance processes.
  • Update, reconcile, and validate multiple reporting systems and Excel-based reports.
  • Deliver accurate financial insights to support decision-making across the business.
  • Provide support during budgeting and business planning cycles.
  • OPEX Management & Procurement
  • Track and manage operational expenditure, maintaining detailed and accurate reporting.
  • Act as a key liaison for procurement activities and spending approval processes.
  • Support cost control initiatives and ensure alignment with financial plans.
  • Capitalisation & Systems
  • Set up and manage capitalisation processes, ensuring accurate intercompany charging.
  • Post and maintain capitalisation entries within SAP.
  • Ensure financial data integrity through ongoing process ownership and review.
  • Business Partnering
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operational and commercial teams.
  • Provide financial guidance to support strategic and operational objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, and continuous improvement.

About You

  • At least 5 years' experience in a Management Accountant or Finance Business Partner role.
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification or equivalent
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Advanced Excel skills and solid working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across functions.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong follow-through.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving environment.
