Corporate Accountant

Sanderson are partnering with a leading international reinsurance organisation to recruit a Corporate Accountant to join its European finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic, collaborative environment and contribute to the effective operation of a multi branch finance function. This position is hybrid working, three days per week in the Dublin office.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the processing and review of operating expenses across multiple European branches
• Analyse and report on operating expenses
• Record entries in a global ERP system for multiple branches and banking entities
• Prepare bank reconciliations
• Maintain prepayment and accrual schedules
• Review and analyse balance sheet general ledger accounts, including expenses and eliminations
• Monitor compliance with inter company agreements
• Participate in finance system initiatives and implementation projects
• Assist with queries from internal and external auditor

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Finance and or Part Qualified Accountant
• At least 2 years' relevant accounting experience
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multi disciplinary, international team
• Experience with Workday
