Social Media & Digital Marketing Executive
Location: Dublin, Dundalk or Cork; (2 days in office, 3 days wfh)
Role Profile: You will lead and manage social and digital channels end‑to‑end, from strategy and content creation, to paid campaigns, community management, and performance optimisation.
You will also collaborate with internal teams, influencers, and agency partners to scale reach and build trust with the audience.
Responsibilities
- Manage and implement a social media strategy across LinkedIn, TikTok, Meta and Bluesky ensuring content is timely, accurate, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Devise and manage a content calendar which reflects the organisation's business objectives and communications priorities.
- Maintain a consistent publishing schedule and ensure all channels reflect tone, values, and mission.
- Adapt broader marketing priorities into platform‑appropriate posts, stories, videos, and engagement activities.
- Build authentic engagement by responding to comments, questions, and messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage the day‑to‑day workload, performance, and professional development of the Social Media Coordinator.
- Work closely with the Content Team and manage monthly ezine design and distribution using mailchimp.
- Collaborate with external marketing agency partners to plan, execute, and optimise paid social campaigns
- Coordinate influencer partnerships and UGC creators (User-Generated Content).
- Continuously monitor, measure and analyse engagement metrics, sentiment trends, and reach to optimise content performance and audience resonance.
- Deliver regular insights, reports, and strategic recommendations to the Digital Manager, wider marketing team, and programme team colleagues to demonstrate social initiatives support long‑term brand objectives.
- Experiment proactively with new content formats, creative approaches, posting strategies, AI tools, and emerging platform features to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Knowledge & Skills
- A complete understanding of the social media landscape & with strong copywriting skills
- Creative skills in producing or editing short‑form video and visual content using tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express or similar.
- Confident communicator to engage audiences, respond to comments, and represent the brand professionally.
- Strong analytical mindset ; organised and detail‑oriented, manage multiple deadlines and consistent.

- ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- A degree (a Level 7 /NFQ or greater) in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media.
- A minimum of 4+ years directly relevant experience devising and implementing social media strategies on multiple channels (Meta, LinkedIn, and Tiktok) targeting diverse audience segments.
- Experience working with social scheduling platforms such as Sprout Social.
- Strong understanding of social analytics, engagement metrics, sentiment analysis, and performance reporting.
- Experience collaborating with paid media teams or agencies to align organic and paid social initiatives.
- Benefits: (This role is for 12 months and the salary is fixed at €52,546 & pension, 29 days hols plus BH).
