Employee Relations Specialist

Sanderson are recruiting a permanent Employee Relations Specialist for our global client operating in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ER professional to join a well‑established organisation where employee relations, compliance, and people experience are a real priority.

The role will suit someone who enjoys handling complex ER matters, working closely with stakeholders, and contributing to continuous improvement across HR processes.

Core Duties:

Employee Relations Case Management

  • Support the full lifecycle of ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, and investigations
  • Maintain accurate ER trackers and ensure timely case progression
  • Ensure cases are managed in line with policy and Irish employment legislation

Investigations & Documentation

  • Lead and support fact‑finding investigations, interviews, and note‑taking
  • Prepare comprehensive, audit‑ready documentation

Legal & Compliance Support

  • Liaise with external legal advisors as required
  • Assist with preparation of documentation for external employment bodies

Process Improvement & Reporting

  • Identify trends across ER activity and escalate insights to HR leadership
  • Support the standardisation and continuous improvement of ER processes

HR Support

  • Provide administrative and project support across ER and wider HR initiatives

About You

  • 4+ years' experience in HR or Employee Relations
  • Strong working knowledge of Irish employment legislation
  • Hands‑on experience with disciplinary, grievance, and investigation processes
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident, professional communicator comfortable handling sensitive issues

Desirable

  • Experience in a multi‑site or unionised environment
  • Exposure to employment relations case preparation or attendance
  • HR qualification (CIPD or equivalent)
